BOY OR GIRL?
Q. How big will my puppy be as an adult?
A. We have been raising Sheepadoodles for more than 10 years and most Standard Size puppies average 65-75lbs full grown and about 24" tall.
Mini Sheepadoodles average 30-45 pounds and 17-20" tall
Micro Mini Sheepadoodle averages under 30 lbs.
Q. If for some reason I am not able to keep my puppy can I return it to MY New Pup?
A. We will gladly welcome back any of our puppies/dogs if our circumstances allow. We never want our Sheepadoodles to end up in a shelter.
You will not receive a refund for your puppy but we promise to love them and find them a loving home. Even if it's with us, our family, friends or someone we feel will give them a loving home. We also consider donating puppies to a local "Battle Buddies" Charity where dogs are trained to be service/companions for American Veterans.
We understand things happen and sometimes a new dog just doesn't work out.
Q. Do you have a spay and neuter contract?
A. Yes. We require your puppy be Spayed or Neutered. If your puppy is ever used for breeding you will be required to pay a breach of contract fee of $10,000. And forfeit your puppy back to My New Pup.

Q. When can I pick up my puppy?
A. Puppies can go home at 8 weeks old. You have up to 3 days after they turn 8 weeks old to pick up your puppy. If you are unable to pick up your puppy by then we offer boarding for a fee of $20 per day. If additional vaccines are need there is a $20 vaccine fee.
Q. How much do I feed my puppy/dog?
A. While puppies are here at MY NEW PUP they always have food available. This is because with a litter of pups all together I want to be sure everyone gets a full tummy. When you get your puppy home it is best to put them on a scheduled feeding routine. All dog food bags have appropriate feeding instructions for the particular brand of food. This is also a great thing to talk to your vet about at your puppies first visit. Scheduled feeding also can make house training easier.

Kirkland Chicken and Rice Formula (sold at Costco)
Kirkland and Diamond Naturals Dry Dog food is rated 4 and a half stars out of 5.
This is an adult formula but is considered an all stages food with the recommended proteins, vitamins and calories required for a healthy growing puppy. The kibble is small and easy for a puppy to eat.
I have researched and tried several different foods throughout the years and this is my favorite.
What company makes Costco dog food?
According to Dog Food Guide, Kirkland Signature dog food is produced through a partnership with Diamond Pet Foods, the same manufacturer for the production of Taste of the Wild, Solid Gold, and Premium Edge.
If you do not have access to a Costco store we recommend Diamond Naturals
which can be purchased at Fleet Farm or Menards.

Q. Do you recommend crate training and what size of crate should I buy?
A. Yes we highly recommend Crate training. Sheepadoodles are very easily trained to love their crate. Crate training teaches your dog many useful skills and helps with house training, travel and down time.
A Sheepadoodle adult will be between 17' and 24" tall at the shoulder. your crate should be big enough to comfortably hold an adult so you are not needing to purchase multiple crates as they grow. Some crates come with a divider that is movable so your crate can grow with your puppy!

Q. How often will my Sheepadoodle need groomed?
A. If you like your doodle in a long coat you will just need to regularly brush them and give them a trim to get the dead ends off about every 6-8 months.
If you like a shorter cut ( sometimes called the "Doodle Cut") you will be grooming about every 3-4 months.
Below are examples of recommended brushes for Sheepadoodles.
